Our ads-mcp application is a Model Context Protocol (MCP) server that connects to the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) Marketing and Graph APIs to let authorized users retrieve and analyze their own advertising and account data through AI assistants. This section describes how the app handles data obtained from Meta.

Data the app accesses. With your explicit authorization, the app may access:

• Ad account, campaign, ad set, and ad configuration and performance metrics (such as spend, impressions, reach, clicks, and conversions).
• Aggregated audience, demographic, geographic, and placement insights.
• Facebook Page and Instagram business account details, media, and engagement metrics that you own or manage.

The app accesses only the data covered by the permissions you grant during authorization, and only for the accounts you connect. It does not access your personal Facebook profile content, private messages, or the data of any account you are not authorized to manage.

How the App Uses Meta Data
